Import Prep tips
Before importing customer lists into Salesforce, HubSpot, or your CRM, verify column headers and row counts match the import schema.
Sort by a key column (e.g., email) to spot duplicates — duplicate rows often cause import errors in systems with unique constraints.
Look for empty cells in required columns — they'll trigger import errors. The viewer highlights the structure clearly.
If your CSV has BOM or unusual encoding, paste a sample into the text area; some import systems are fussier than this viewer.
