Working Days to Project Deadline

For agile sprint planning: working days × team-velocity per day = sprint capacity. The working-days count is what you need, not total days.

When negotiating deadlines with clients, use working days for clarity. "60 working days from now" is meaningfully different from "60 calendar days."

For Gantt chart prep: calculate working days from project start to each milestone. Total days will overstate availability by ~30% (the weekends).

Working days here excludes Saturdays and Sundays only — if your team observes public holidays, manually subtract those from the count.
