HTTP Basic Authentication encodes "username:password" in Base64 and sends it as "Authorization: Basic <encoded>" in the request header.
JSON Web Tokens (JWTs) use Base64URL encoding for their header and payload sections. Paste a JWT to decode and inspect its claims.
Base64 is encoding, not encryption. It's not secure on its own — always transmit Base64 credentials over HTTPS.
