CW (Continuous Wave) Morse is still used by amateur radio operators. Many licences require a basic understanding of Morse code.
The "/" separator between Morse groups represents a word space. In real transmission, word spaces are 7 dot-lengths of silence.
Prosigns and Q-codes (QSL, QRZ, QTH) are used in ham radio — convert them letter-by-letter using this tool to learn their Morse equivalents.
The ITU standard Morse code timing: dot=1 unit, dash=3 units, gap between symbols=1, between letters=3, between words=7.
