Palindromes tips
The tool shows a "Palindrome" badge if the input reads the same forwards and backwards (ignoring spaces and punctuation). Try: "A man a plan a canal Panama".
Famous palindromes: "racecar", "level", "madam", "Was it a car or a cat I saw?", "Never odd or even", "A Santa at NASA".
Writing palindromes is a creative puzzle. Type your attempt in "Characters" mode — if it's a palindrome, the reversed version will match the original.
Palindrome detection ignores case and non-letter characters by default — "Doc, note: I dissent. A fast never prevents a fatness. I diet on cod." is a palindrome.
