RSS 2.0 requires the <description> element to contain either plain text or HTML-entity-encoded markup. Unencoded HTML breaks feed parsers.
Encode your article's full HTML content here, then wrap it in <description><![CDATA[...]]></description> to simplify entity requirements.
Validate your RSS feed at validator.w3.org/feed/ after adding encoded content. Entity encoding errors are the most common cause of validation failure.
Atom feeds (Atom 1.0) use <content type="html"> with entity-encoded HTML in the same way. The encoding rules are identical.
