Crop Profile Pictures to Square

Use the 1:1 (square) preset. Most platforms then mask to a circle, so leave breathing room around your face.

For best results: position your face/subject in the upper-center portion of the crop — the bottom often gets cut by the circular mask.

Recommended export size: 400×400 to 1080×1080 pixels. Most platforms downscale anyway, but starting larger lets them resize cleanly.

For high-DPI displays, export at 2× the platform's recommended size (e.g., 800×800 for a 400×400 display).
