Grades tips
Use "X is what % of Y": enter your raw score (X) and total possible (Y) to find your percentage score. 42/60 = 70%.
Need a final grade of 75%? Use "X% of Y" to find what raw score that equals on the total mark: 75% of 60 = 45 minimum needed.
Grade changes: use "percentage change" to see how much your grade improved or dropped between two assessments.
Weighted grades: calculate each component as a percentage, then weight them. A 80% exam worth 60% of the final = 80 × 0.60 = 48 percentage points.
