Different players and platforms want different subtitle formats — YouTube uses SBV, the web uses WebVTT, most video files use SRT. This converts between them while keeping the timing intact.

   Cues are parsed into a common model

   Each caption's start time, end time, and text are extracted, normalising the different timecode styles (commas, dots, centiseconds).

   It's re-serialised to your target format

   The cues are written out in the format you choose, with correct timecodes and structure for that format.
