Why diceware? Memorable phrases of random words have huge entropy and are easier to remember than gibberish like βX#9mP$qZβ. A 5-word phrase has more entropy than a 10-character random password with mixed case + symbols.
π All randomness comes from crypto.getRandomValues() in your browser. No words, passphrases, or any data are sent anywhere.
Master Password tips
Your master password must be both memorable (you can't reset it) and strong. A 6-word diceware phrase nails both β 60+ bits of entropy, easy to remember.
Use a memorable but non-personal phrase. Don't pick words that have meaning to you ("cat dog house" is too predictable). Trust the random generator.
Master passwords protect everything else. Make this 5-6 words minimum. Anything less is risky.
Practice typing it a few times before saving anywhere. Once you can type it from muscle memory, you'll never forget it.
