Como funciona

HEIC is Apple's default iPhone photo format, but Windows, Android, and most websites can't open it. Almost every "HEIC to JPG" site makes you upload your photos — often with their GPS location intact. This converter decodes HEIC in your browser, so the photos never leave your device.

libheif decodes them locally
A WebAssembly build of libheif (via heic2any) decodes each HEIC image right in your browser, the same library desktop apps use.

The image is re-encoded to your format
The decoded image is drawn to a canvas and exported as JPG, PNG, or WebP. Re-encoding through the canvas also strips the original EXIF/GPS metadata.

You download the results
Download each photo, or grab the whole batch as a single ZIP. All conversion happened on your device.

iPhone photos carry GPS coordinates and camera details. Uploading them to a random converter leaks where they were taken. Here, conversion is 100% local and the output is stripped of that metadata — ideal for sharing photos publicly or selling items online.
