Print tips

🖨️

When importing images into Word or InDesign, the orientation comes from the file. Rotate before importing to avoid in-app orientation hacks.

💡

For landscape page layouts with portrait photos, rotating 90° to fit can save layout time vs scaling and cropping.

🎯

For print, export to PNG to maintain quality. JPEG's compression artifacts become visible at high print resolutions.

📋

The rotated file inherits source resolution — if you started with 300 DPI for print, the result remains 300 DPI.
