💡 A cup of flour and a cup of honey weigh very differently — gram conversions only work if you account for ingredient density. That's why baking by weight is far more reliable than by volume.
Scaling tips
Halving a recipe that calls for 3/4 cup? Convert to grams first, then divide — much easier to measure.
Weights scale linearly and exactly, so doubling or tripling never introduces rounding drift.
For very small amounts (spices, leavening), measure by teaspoon rather than weight — scales lose precision.
