Music Production tips
Drop in a track to see its frequency profile. A balanced mix shows energy across the spectrum without dominant peaks in any one band.
Common mix issues visible in spectrum: too much energy below 80 Hz (muddiness), missing presence around 3 kHz (lacks clarity), excessive sibilance above 8 kHz.
Compare your mix's spectrum to a reference track in the same genre — your reference shows what frequency balance works for the style.
The circular visualization is good for live performance or sharing — pretty but less informative than bars for analytical mixing.
