RSS 2.0 requires the <description> element to contain either plain text or HTML-entity-encoded markup. Unencoded HTML breaks feed parsers.

Validate your RSS feed at validator.w3.org/feed/ after adding encoded content. Entity encoding errors are the most common cause of validation failure.
