Files quietly carry hidden metadata: photos store GPS coordinates and your camera/phone model; PDFs and Office documents store author names, the software used, and edit history.     For images, the EXIF/XMP/IPTC segments and comment chunks are removed directly from the file structure — the image data is left byte-for-byte intact, so there is zero quality loss.

    PDFs have their title, author, producer, and XMP metadata cleared via pdf-lib. Office files (which are ZIP archives) have their core, app, and custom property files wiped via JSZip.

    You download the clean files
