Convert Brand Logo to ICO Format

Start with the highest-resolution version of your logo. The tool downsamples; it cannot upscale poor-quality sources into sharp icons.

For complex logos with text, consider a simplified "icon mark" version for the favicon. Full wordmarks are often unreadable at 16×16.

Test your converted icon on both light and dark backgrounds — many brand colors that look fine on white become invisible on dark mode browser tabs.

Save the .ico to your brand asset library alongside the PNG variants. When a developer asks for "the favicon," you'll have it ready.
